My name is David A. Cuevas I’ve been making art for as long as I remember since I was a kid. I’ve worked as a graphic designer professionally for 3 years, but I decided to create my digital and traditional art skills for the past 6 years.

On the side, I try and help other artists learn skills and improve on anything they need help with. As I’m no big professional yet, I believe that everyone should follow their dreams if they want to create anything and I try to help others light their creative spark or try and help them find the right path they should follow. I’ve always pursued creating things whether it’s culinary arts, illustrative art, graphic design, and more. but as I’m always saying every day there is something to learn especially when it comes to art.

On things that inspire me and my creativity, I would say it’s my intense adoration with Anime, cartoons, storytelling, and video games. if theirs is anything I really love the most it’s a great story that is why I’m always hooked on cartoons or anime because literally anything could happen and the emotion character could convey as well that why I’m always trying to tell stories with my art. I tried making a comic early on in my art career but it kinda didn’t go how I want it to go but now with the skills, I have learned I feel more confident to try and crack at it again in the near future.

but if there’s something I can leave you with that really has kept me going in my work is this quote from Steven Suptic from Sugar Pine 7: "if you love what you do, you'll never have to work a day in your life. Well, I disagree! No matter how much you love what you do, you’ll always have to work, and you have to work hard. And sometimes, 15-hour days seem like a lot more work than love. But someday, when you're sitting with all the people you care about the most, all those hours you spent working turn into a moment like this.” (insert cool epic montage)
